IBA Chromed metal plate frames are available to fit most standard U.S. size (4 x 7 inch) motorcycle license plates. Unlike most
frames, IBA frames are specially designed to attempt to avoid covering up the State

The details...
Compared to typical frames, we expanded the view port as much as possible, however, some states run the lettering very close to the bolts holes that are needed to mount the plate. In this case, the I and R almost touch the bolt hole and given the amount of metal needed to insure long life, it is possible that installation will impact the edges of some lettering (in the pictured plate, even without the IBA plate back, the license plate bolt contacts the letter I above). In this case, small rubber washers keep the plate frame from touching the lettering. Enlarging the plate view does come at a cost, you will need at least 1-1/8 inch above the top bolt holes, 1-3/8 inch below the bottom bolt holes and 7/8 inch on each side. The plate frame will NOT fit many Harley-Davidson models (however, we are working on a H-D version!)
