This is a SS1600K ride, all within Vancouver Island.  The ride distance as described is 1,647 kilometres.  Riders can start anywhere on the route, but must finish at the starting point, and document the following cities:

The ride from Port Alberni to Tofino is to die for IF you like remote twisty roads following rivers and inlets…. CAREFUL! This area is home to the Roosevelt Elk. Largest Elk on the Planet, really…



Campbell River to Gold river is much the same, more remote, less traffic and the last 20 miles resemble a road race track. Sweeper after sweeper, great pavement, great engineering in the curves, great scenery.
