Background:
This
ride celebrates Labor Day, the first Monday in Sepember.
In 1894 President Grover Cleveland made Labor Day an official holiday in
the United States, honoring workers and labor unions and to celebrate the social and economic achievements of American workers.
How do we celebrate Labor Day? With American flags, parades,
picnics and hot dogs.
We
will issue a unique certificate for this ride.
Read the rules
for
the iconic SaddleSore 1000
on the Ironbutt
Association site. The rules for this ride are similar and you
will get valuable background information.
Documentation: See here.
