Background:
You can ride any established ride on a scooter and receive special
recognition. The rules for scooter rides are the same as those
for the established rides.
The most often performed scooter rides* are:
Scooter 1000--Ride the Saddlesore 1000 on a scooter 300 cc or
larger
Scooter 1000 Gold--Ride a SaddleSore 1000 on a scooter
smaller
than 300cc
Scooter 1500 Gold--Ride a Bun Burner 1500 in less than 24 hours
on a scooter 300 cc or larger, or in less than 36 hours on a scooter smaller than 300 cc.
Scooter 1500--Ride a Bun Burner 1500 in less than 36 hours on a
scooter 300 cc or larger
* Available in the standard metric (KM) versions too.
You may ride any established Iron Butt ride on a scooter. Before
you attempt a longer ride, please check with IBA Rides (or the Premier Team) for any special
requirements on longer or unusual rides.
