Background:

4 - 5 - 6 - 7 States With a Twist.

Australia consists of 6 states and 2 Territories. There are 5 states on the Australian mainland and the island state of Tasmania.

Further more, there are 2 places on the mainland, named after states in the U.S., Kentucky in New South Wales (NSW) and Texas in Queensland (QLD).

Kentucky and Texas are states in their own right, but not here in Australia and that is The Twist.

The aim of these rides is to visit Kentucky and Texas and obviously the states they are in. Hence, the smallest IBA certifiable ride would be a SS1600, visiting Kentucky in NSW and Texas in QLD, making it a "4 States With a Twist". You must as per normal IBA regulations, obtain proof that you have indeed visited Kentucky and Texas.

Adding more states and distance is simple, you visit as many states as you wish within any IBA certifiable ride. Some one will visit all 7, maybe in conjunction with a Border Run. Alas, Tasmania is excluded as I have not found any IBA ride that would allow travel time to or from the mainland.

Special certificates has been designed here in Australia by Skidoo, so they reflect the local flavour.

All that is left now, is for you to go and have some fun on these Australian specific rides.

Definitions

DBR - Dated Business Receipt

A DBR is a machine generated receipt with the date, time and LOCATION on it. Check it - do not assume it is correct. A receipt with an incorrect time/date/location is worthless. Check and re-check.

Rules

You may take any route you like.

    Your official time is determined by the starting and ending receipts. PLEASE check these documents and make sure the clock and date is correct!

    Spotwalla.com is strongly recommended but not required.

    If you cannot get a receipt you must take a picture, including your motorcycle, to PROVE you were in the town. Remember it is YOUR responsibility to prove you did the ride. Spotwalla goes a long way towards this proof.
