Background:
The Concert 1000 is a SaddleSore 1000 motorcycle ride encouring you to ride out to, and enjoy a Music Concert.
Normal SaddleSore 1000 rules apply, with the following additional considerations.
- You must attend a Concert at *the end* of your 1000+ mile ride and within your 24 hour riding period. Do this after you get your final fuel / ODO receipt photo.
- To show attendance at the concert, a selfie from within the Concert Venue during the concert must be taken and uploaded to your SpotWalla Trip.
- The concert must be at a venue which has seating / capacity for 500+ people.
- Keep your concert ticket, or obtain a copy of the concert's promotional notices - showing the time, venue and the concert name. Paid, or free concerts are both fine.
Levels of ride:
- Standard Level Certificate: Take a selfie at the Concert and upload it to your SpotWalla Trip.
- Gold Level Certificate: Take a selfie with the band at the Concert venue and upload it to your SpotWalla Trip. - This can be backstage, or as the band arrives at the venue etc, perhaps you were lucky enough to get a VIP pass? For extra bragging rights: take your selfie ON STAGE, with the band, during the Concert.
Extra evidence required:
- Details of the concert - either a photo of your ticket, or a screen shot of the promotional brochure for the concert showing the date and time, venue and band details.
- Some information on the venue - showing the capacity of it - a link to wikipedia or the venue's website for example would be sufficient. eg: https://www.libbeybowl.org/164/About-the-Bowl
- Your selfie photo - if it's WITH the band, then the band need to be actively participating in the selfie, this can't just be you standing in front of the band.
The iconic SaddleSore 1000, is described on the Iron Butt Association website. The rules for that ride are identical, and valuable relevant information is provided there.
A special cetificate is issued for the Concert 1000.
