Background:

The Lap of Oregon is roughly 1,260 miles.  You must ride your motorcycle around Oregon riding to the 4 listed locations.

Read the rules for the iconic SaddleSore 1000 on the Iron Butt Association site.  The rules for this ride are similar and you will get valuable background information.

Definitions

DBR - Dated Business Receipt

A DBR is a machine generated receipt with the date, time and LOCATION on it.  Check it - do not assume it is correct.  A receipt with an incorrect time/date/location is worthless.  Check and re-check.

Rules:


This is a Spotwalla required ride.

The ride must be completed in less than 28 hours.

You may start anywhere in the state.  You may finish anywhere in the state - you DO NOT have to finish in the same city in which you started.

You should not leave Oregon and if you do so, you MUST re-enter Oregon at the same point you left it. Those miles ridden outside Oregon are not credited toward the miles for this ride.

You must visit each of the below listed location.  You must use Spotwalla or other satellite tracking system.  You must obtain a DBR at the start and finish of your ride.  Check your receipts.

Southeast Corner
-Welcome to Oregon sign just north of McDermitt, NV. You may cross into Nevada at McDermitt for a DBR (i.e. fuel) in lieu of a picture of your bike at this Welcome to Oregon sign.
Northeast Corner
-Welcome to Oregon sign on OR-3 43 miles north of Enterprise.
Northwest Corner
-Warrenton
Southwest Corner
-Welcome to Oregon sign on US-101 south of Brookings. Obtain a DBR in Brookings either before or after your photo of your bike at this Welcome to Oregon sign.

You may visit the jurisdictions in any order. 

You may take any route you like - but remember you should not leave Oregon and if you do so, you MUST re-enter Oregon at the same point you left it. Those miles ridden outside Oregon are not credited toward the miles for this ride.

Your official time is determined by the starting and ending receipts.  PLEASE check these documents and make sure the clock and date are correct!

Spotwalla.com is required for this ride. 

Remember it is YOUR responsibility to prove you visited all required locations.  Spotwalla goes a long way towards this proof.
