The New England 1000 is a motorcycle ride within the New England Region of the USA. You must ride your motorcycle at least 1,000 miles in less than 24 hours, entirely within the New England Region. Definitions: DBR - Dated Business Receipt A DBR is a machine generated receipt with the date, time, and location on it. Check it - do not assume it is correct. A receipt with an incorrect date/time/location is worthless. Check and re-check. New England Region For purposes of this ride, the New England Region consists of the six USA states of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Fee: see fee page Rules: The ride's distance must be at least 1,000 miles. The ride must be completed in less than 24 hours. You must obtain a DBR from each of the six states in the New England Region, and at least every 350 miles. Each receipt must indicate the city, state, date, and time. Check your receipts. Your ride must not leave the New England Region, except for safety reasons, and if you leave, you must re-enter the New England Region at the same point where you left it. You may start your ride at any city within the New England Region. You may end your ride at any city within the New England Region. You may take any route you like, and you may visit the six states in any order - but remember you must not leave the New England Region.
