The Ride Around Colorado is roughly 1,800 miles.

Be sure to read the standard State - Province Ride Around Rules contained here before starting your ride.

Fees: See fee page

The ride must be completed in less than 49 hours.
The Ride Around Colorado Gold must be completed in less than 45 hours.

NOTE:  This ride is over mountainous terrain which should not be ridden in darkness.  Therefore, you must be 'off the bike' for at least six hours between sunset and sunrise.  The time 'off the bike' is part of the total time for the ride.

You must "ride to" each of the listed jurisdictions or places in the order listed, either clockwise or counterclockwise is fine but they must be in order, e.g.  Cortez MUST come immediately before or after Grand Junction.

Th eColorado-Utah border along HWY 318--take a pic of the sign "entering Utah"
Grand Junction
The Four Corners Monument--Take a pic with your bike*
Through the Comanche National Grassland to Holly
Steamboat Springs

*This requires you to leave the state for about 1 mile.  That's okay for this requirement.

Steve Kotlarz designed this and was the first rider to successfully complete it.  His ride report is very informative.  You can find it here.

Reminder: is required.

It is YOUR responsibility to prove you "rode to" all required jurisdictions in the required order. Spotwalla goes a long way towards this proof.

There is no additional merchandise for this ride.
