Background:
The Ride Around West Virginia is roughly 1,260 miles.
This is one of the most challenging of the 'Ride Around' rides.
Posted speed limits are low, and the countless number of curves and
switchbacks keep the sane rider from maintaining those speeds.
Further, the roadways are in generally poor shape compared to the roads
we long distance riders usually encounter.
This ride requires careful planning so you can ride the twistiest parts
during daylight.
