This ride celebrates Thanksgiving in the USA, a national holiday on the fourth Thursday in November, which began as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest (wiki).

What comes to mind when we think of Thanksgiving? Plymouth, Mayflower, Pilgrims and harvest.  And how do we celebrate Thanksgiving?  With turkey, corn, beans, pumpkin pie, potatoes and cranberry sauce.

We will issue a unique certificate for this ride.

Read the rules for the iconic SaddleSore 1000 on the Ironbutt Association site.  The rules for this ride are similar and you will get valuable background information.

Documentation:  See here.

DBR - Dated Business Receipt

A DBR is a machine generated receipt with the date, time and LOCATION on it.  Check it - do not assume it is correct.  A receipt with an incorrect time/date/location is worthless.  Check and re-check.

Fees:  Regular fees apply - this is a special certificate only program

Photos are required for this certificate.  Each photo must include your motorcycle except for selfie photos of you eating food items.  Get a DBR in the same city of each photo.  When using a selfie photo of you eating as one of your photo requirements, obtain and submit your DBR for that food item purchase.

Required photo possibilities:

-- your motorcycle with a post office, water tower, welcome to (town) sign, DOT town sign or DOT street sign which includes the word Plymouth, Mayflower, Pilgrim, harvest, turkey, corn, beans, pumpkin, potato or cranberry. harvest is not a common name so we will accept photos with your motorcycle in front of church signs with harvest in its name.
